Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas
Fajitas are so fun for the whole family because they are easy to customize and every family member can pick and choose what they want on their own fajitas.
So while I think these chicken fajitas are perfect with my exact recipe, my kids opt out of putting any peppers or onions on their fajitas.
And because I don’t believe in making separate meals for my kids, but I do want my children to eat, this is the perfect compromise where they can pick to put exactly what they want on their tortilla.
How do you keep fajitas warm for a party?
This sheet pan recipe is perfect to serve at a party because you can easily prep it ahead, and then put it in the oven to pull out exactly when you want to eat it.
But if you still need to keep it warm, I would wrap the pan with foil and put it back in the turned-off oven.
What do I serve with fajitas?
- Sour cream
- Homemade Guacamole
- Fresh Avodaco Slices
- Shredded Cheese
- Tortillas (we prefer corn)
How do you cut chicken fajitas?
I prefer to ask the meat department at my local grocery store to cut my chicken breasts for me! They often will do it while I wait for no charge! Woot woot!
But if I forget to do that, or the line is too long, I will take a sharp knife or scissors and simply cut thin slices across the grain of the chicken.
How do you cook chicken fajitas?
I love this sheet pan chicken fajitas recipe because it is simple and there is very little cleanup!
I have made this countless times in my oven at home.
But since I am currently living in an RV without an oven (read about it here), I started researching toaster ovens so that I could continue to cook the recipes I love even in our modified living situation.
What I ended up coming across, and falling in love with, was a Brava.
It is similar to a toaster oven, but SO MUCH MORE!
This kitchen appliance cooks with light so it needs very little (or sometimes no) preheating time at all.
You have the ability to cook different zones differently, which means you can cook a three-course meal at once!
And it can do things like sear, air-fry, bake, dehydrate and more!
After a month or so of testing this out, I wanted to share how easy a sheet pan recipe like this is easy to make in a Brava.
I love how consistent this machine has been cooking for us and we get great results every time from french toast or eggs to s’mores, frozen chicken nuggets and even our favorite sheet pan meals!
The coolest thing about this appliance is that when you buy it, you get a FREE one-on-one video call with the Brava team so they can walk you through, step by step, how to use your new machine! I absolutely loved this call!
In addition to that, they load recipes onto the machine frequently so you can easily meal plan and cook! This is great for a beginner cook or an experienced chef.
We have used their presets, and we have used it like a regular oven. We have tried old favorite recipes, new ones and even baking from a box mix. Everything we try turns out so good!
And while I am currently using this in my travel trailer while we build our home, I am already planning a home for it in our new home we are building because we are loving it so much!
It is also super kid-friendly! I love that my kids can easily use this and my daughter is thrilled that she has a way to bake again!
