I created this project this weekend too!! Yours looks so much more like the example haha! I admit I struggled quite a bit but I was really shoving tons of flowers in there. Yours looks great and I love the wood planter you chose! I'd love for you to come visit mine as well ๐
Colleen says
LOL. Enjoyed your video.
I plan on making one in the center of my large rose bed as a center attraction but think I will bury my pot in the ground and have the rim right at ground level and having the flowers cascading down and covering the ground area as well.
In center of my tower I think I will also add a watering tube(PVC pipe with holes) to where the water will be distributed

Love it! Want to make one! Great video!

I wonder if you could use a tomato cage instead of the fencing?
donnaing,

Great question! A tomato cage would provide a similar base as wire fencing, I am not sure if it would be quite sturdy enough…but it might work! It would be angled in though instead of straight, so it would be a little different, but it might work. I love the creativity!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment!

Ashley

I tried using a tomato cage but it was too heavy and started to lean. It also dried out real fast.
