The result was delicious and refreshing and I loved getting an extra dose of vitamin C in all of our bodies! This is a great recipe that can be easily modified with what you have on hand. But the key to the extra immunity boosting properties of this are to add a serving of Vitamin C Crystals (affiliate link included for your convenience). This is a must easier way to get your Vitamin C then a yucky, tart vitamin, and it can help during the winter months to keep you healthy and give you an extra boost of antioxidants for the day.
Cold Buster Smoothie Recipe
- 1 Banana
- 2 Clementines (or 1 orange)
- 1/2 cup Pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 teaspoon Vitamin C Crystals (*as directed on bottle)
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Ice
- Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
You can vary your amounts to your preference but this recipe creates a fresh tasting delicious smoothie!
