Yesterday I showed off a Pottery Barn Inspired Shabby Christmas Tree craft, and today I am going to show you a really cute and simple Pottery Barn Kids Inspired Yarn Wrapped Christmas Tree craft! This is perfect for a little last-minute holiday crafting, would work all winter long, and is so simple, you can even enlist your kids in this project! Plus I love how the yarn gives this tree a warm, cozy feeling to it!
All you will need is a Styrofoam cone, yarn in your choice of color and a low temp hot glue gun!
Starting at the top of the Styrofoam cone, wrap the yarn around the cone, overlapping yarn, and hot gluing in place as needed to keep the yarn in place.
You can create these in any color and are a really fun touch to most Holiday Decor!
Again, this Christmas Tree is one that is similar to one featured in a recent Pottery Barn Kids Catalog as background decor, but isn’t for sale online as far as I can tell. I also made these similar yarn-wrapped cones here.
If you like this idea, would you please take a moment to Pin It? Thanks!
Happy Holidays!
