Easy to Make Homemade Cherry Limeade Recipe
Course: Drinks
Author: Simply Designing with Ashley Phipps
  • 24 Cherries pitted
  • 4 Limes washed
  • 2 cups Sugar more or less to taste
  • 8 cups Water + 1/4 cups Water
  • Cherries and Limes
  1. Begin by placing your pitted cherries and 1/4 cup water in a blender. Blend these until they are completely pureed and smooth. Strain these and then set the cherry juice aside. This will equal about 1 cup of cherry juice. (I love this cherry pitter. (affiliate link for your convenience))
  2. Mix 8 cups of water and about 2 cups of sugar together and set aside.
  3. Wash your limes, cut the ends off and then cut them in half. Place about half of the limes and half of the sugar water in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain that into a pitcher and then repeat with the rest of your water and limes.
  4. Add the cherry juice into the lime / water mixture and stir together well! You can add more water or more sugar at this point if it isn't quite as sweet as you like it or if it is too strong.
  5. Chill then serve!
