Crescent Rolls Berry Cheese Danish Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cans Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Original Crescent Rolls 8 ct 8.0 oz
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ pound Strawberries tops cut off
  • 3 oz Blueberries
  • 3 oz Raspberries
  • 3 oz Blackberries
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar plus extra for sprinkling
  • Splash of Lemon Juice about ⅛ tsp
Instructions
  1. You will begin by placing your berries, lemon juice and granulated sugar in a blender and mixing until it is smooth.
  2. Place the berry mixture on the stove and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Allow mixture to boil for 5 minutes.  Remove from heat and place in the refrigerator to cool down and thicken just a bit.
  4. Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together with an electric beater until smooth.
  5. Take the dough out of the cans and pinch the seams together.
  6. Cut each can of dough into 4 rectangles.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto each rectangle of dough using about ⅛ of the mixture for each rectangle.
  8. Spoon the berry mixture on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  9. Bring all four corners of the dough to the middle and press them together.
  10. Place danishes onto a baking sheet and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  11. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until the rolls are lightly browned.
