Hi guys! I am just loving this summer, are you? But I will be honest, it is HOT hot hot here in Indiana. Hot and humid. Which makes me want to reach for a tall glass of lemonade more often than I probably should. So I decided to make my own yummy and refreshing drink this year, but instead of lemonade, I decided to make this easy to make homemade Cherry Limeade! Yup, this recipe is EASY to make, I promise. And it is so delicious! Plus you get to control all the ingredients in it so you can easily use more or less sugar, or sub sugar for something like stevia if you prefer. You can totally make this your own, but make a lot because this will go fast in your house! Keep ready for the full easy to make homemade cherry limeade recipe!
Homemade Cherry Limeade
Ingredients:
- 24 Cherries, pitted
- 4 Limes, washed
- 2 cups Sugar (more or less to taste)
- 8 cups Water + 1/4 cups Water
Directions:
- Begin by placing your pitted cherries and 1/4 cup water in a blender. Blend these until they are completely pureed and smooth. Strain these and then set the cherry juice aside. This will equal about 1 cup of cherry juice. (I love this cherry pitter. (affiliate link for your convenience))
- Mix 8 cups of water and about 2 cups of sugar together and set aside.
- Wash your limes, cut the ends off and then cut them in half. Place about half of the limes and half of the sugar water in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain that into a pitcher and then repeat with the rest of your water and limes.
- Add the cherry juice into the lime / water mixture and stir together well! You can add more water or more sugar at this point if it isn’t quite as sweet as you like it or if it is too strong.
- Chill then serve!

Ashley, I didn’t know cherry pitters existed! Thanks because you just made my life so much easier! Last year I pitted them myself to make a cherry pie and I promised myself I’d never make it again lol

I got one of those cherry pitters last summer and it saved me so much time! I even managed to pit cherries faster than my 2 year old could eat them.
