Do you mind if we get a bit personal?
I’m just going to lay it all out there…I’ll get straight to the point. I am a girl so I shave my legs. I also shave under my arms. I am sure if you are a girl, there is a good chance you do the same thing…at least occasionally 🙂
The first few times I shaved it was exciting and new but now, approximately 2,808 times later, it’s not so exciting or new and with two young kids I don’t often get the chance to squeeze that into my schedule. So when I was offered the chance to test out Tria’s Hair Removal Laser I jumped at the chance!
The Tria Hair Removal Laser is FDA cleared and Tria Beauty says that many people can be hair-free in as little as 6 months! That definitely intrigued me. The thought of no longer having to shave my legs or underarms, amazing!
A few days later I received this beautiful package in the mail:
I could hardly wait to try it out!
So I charged the device and I got already to give it a try.
And then I lost my nerve. I was worried it would hurt. I’m a pretty tough cookie, but purposefulness inflicting pain isn’t something I prefer to do. So I put my neat little gadget back in its cute little box and waited until another day to test it out! I don’t know why I was nervous, but I totally was!
So I finally worked up the nerve to try it out. One of the great things about the Tria Hair Removal Laser is that there are five different levels. So I decided to test it out on the lowest setting. Honestly, I didn’t feel it at all. So I took it up to the next level and still nothing! On my legs I was able to go all the way up to a five with little to no discomfort. There are a few areas that hurt a little more then others, but it is completely doable! At absolute worst, it feels like a small rubber band snapped on your skin, at its very worst. I was so happy that not only was this system a DIY at home treatment, but it was also not painful!
Another fabulous feature of the Tria is that there is a special security feature on it. In order to turn the Tria on, you first have to call or go online to register the product. After you have registered it, before you use it, every time, you have to press a button and place the bottom of the device on the part of your skin that is to receive the treatment. If you do not do this, the device won’t turn on. It only takes a second to unlock the device, but it insures that it can only be used safely.
So after I worked through my little nervous bout, I was able to do both legs and my underarms without any problems!
Now this is the part in the review where I’m supposed to show you pictures to demonstrate my results after a couple of treatments. However, I can’t bring myself to post picture of hairy legs on my blog. I hope you don’t mind, but it’s just kind of gross.
So there will be no photos. You will just have to take my word for it 🙂
After only a few treatments, I am seeing results. Some hair has not grown back already which is resulting in less hair overall! I am so so so so so excited! And I am sure that I will continue to see more results and eventually, I will not have to try to fit shaving my legs in between diaper changes and making breakfast!
How cool is that!?!?
I am so pleased with the fabulous device! Not only is this a safe and mostly painless, it is also effective! I love that I can do this at home while watching tv or relaxing. It is so great that I don’t have to make an apt and I don’t have to find childcare; I love that I can do this at home, on my couch!
This is definitely a fun and useful beauty gadget and I am so happy with the results I am seeing! And I am thrilled that after a few more treatments I will no longer have to spend time on shaving or waxing! This is definitely a fabulous device for getting rid of unwanted hair. The Tria Hair Removal Laser is one of my favorite beauty gadgets!
So I want to know, what method do you use to get rid of unwanted hair and would you ever consider using at at home hair removal laser like the Tria?
