Yes, we have all seen fabric covered eggs before. But I can almost guarantee you have NEVER seen fabric covered Easter eggs quite like this before! These super cute Fabric Covered Eggs are made with…wait for it…Duck Tape.
What!?!?! Yes! Duck Tape now makes fabric tape and it is awesome!!! Seriously. So so cool! And I want to say a big huge thanks to Duck Brand and Izea for sending me a great package full of fun Duck Tape including this fabric tape just for fun! And boy, did the kids and I have fun!
In fact, most of these eggs are made by my children! I cut the tape into strips and then they peeled the backing off and applied the tape to the plastic eggs.
This is a great way for little ones to work on their fine motor skills while creating a really fun and pretty Easter craft and decoration! My kids spent over an hour sitting and patiently working on these! It was that much fun!!
So to make these Duck Tape Fabric Covered Easter Eggs, you will need:
- Plastic Easter eggs
- Duck Brand Fabric Tape, assorted colors
Simply cut the fabric tape off of the roll into strips, varying widths are ok! Then remove the backing and place the tape onto the plastic eggs, covering the entire egg with tape.
That’s it! So simple, perfect for the kids to help with, and really fun!
Do you decorate for Easter?
